Account Manager Canada

Toronto, Vancouver or Montreal Stokke LLC Apply before: 2022-05-21

In this challenging role you develop distribution and sales within all specialty retail, department store and national chain stores within the region of Montreal/Quebec, Canada. You are responsible to secure high-quality selective distribution in accordance with the company’s distribution strategy, as well as implement focused retail merchandising, product training, sales training, and excellent account management as well as align directions and activities with Key Account Manager to achieve coherent regional strategy.

Some of the key responsibilities are the following:

  • Achieve company sales targets through development of existing retailer database and new business opportunities in line with a selective distribution strategy.
  • Continuously improve merchandising in stores, including installation of in store equipment and point of sales materials
  • Ensure all retailers’ staff receives training through own coaching and/or other company training support
  • Work with customer service to ensure the markets get the service they need
  • Support the implementation and successful realization of sales and marketing campaigns
  • Use Stokke’s defined sales way of working and CRM tool: Salesforce according to best practices and guidelines
  • Gather and share news on market and on competitor’s developments/activities and other relevant information helping Stokke to better understand the market, competitors, customers and results

Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree required – Business/Marketing/Communications/Merchandising concentrations preferred
  • Experience with developing distribution and sales for branded goods with excellent results (as perceived by management and customers)
  • Familiarity with motivating and training retail sales personnel and implementing company strategies in retail environments
  • Experience of both traditional as well as digital retail channels
  • Native or C1 French & English is mandatory
  • A private situation which allows traveling with strong focus on the Quebec region with majority of field days (3-4 days a week) split between Montreal and Quebec City + staying away and occasional weekend work at consumer shows (approx 4 weekends per year)
  • Valid driving license
