Pursue Excellence, The Team:
The IT Operations team is a crucial driver of IT processes within the region, focusing on ensuring seamless service delivery, project execution, and security. The IT Operations Specialist plays a central role in aligning regional operations with global initiatives, making sure that IT systems run efficiently and effectively. This position emphasizes teamwork and collaboration, with no direct personnel management responsibilities.

Take Responsibility, The Position:

The IT Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing various IT infrastructure and service operations within the region. The role requires a strong background in cloud computing, particularly with Microsoft technologies such as Entra ID, Windows Server, Azure, Intune, SharePoint, and Office 365. The specialist will also manage regional IT projects, handle incident resolution, and ensure that global workplace standards are maintained. Familiarity with cloud networking, IT security, user support solutions (such as ITIL), and agile methodologies is important to the role. The ability to work independently and deliver in an agile environment is key.

Main Job Responsibilities:

  • Regional IT Operations: Manage incidents and problems reported by local teams, coordinate IT operations needs such as networking, hardware, software, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Cloud and Network Operations: Implement and manage cloud infrastructure changes, optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency, enforce cloud security policies, and provide technical guidance to stakeholders.
  • Client/User Support: Maintain and improve processes for hardware and software distribution, manage software deployment, and ensure continuous improvement of security settings.
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage regional IT vendors, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance against SLAs.

 

Better Together, The Ideal Profile:

The ideal candidate for this role holds a degree in Computing, Computer Science, or Information Technology and brings experience in IT infrastructure and service operations.

They should be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously and possess advanced knowledge of cloud computing, with specific expertise in Microsoft platforms. Certifications in Microsoft technologies, such as AZ-104, SC-300, or MD-102, are highly desirable.

Strong communication skills, problem-solving aptitude, and a hands-on approach are essential. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate a service-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to improving IT processes and services.

A structured working style and focus on cost control and continuous improvement are also key traits for success in this role.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required
