As a global company with a strong international presence, Stokke's finance team plays a critical role in the business's growth and strategic direction. This highly collaborative and ambitious team is at the forefront of financial innovation, utilizing cutting-edge technology and best practices to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Take Responsibility, The Position:
The Accountant will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the accounting
department ranging from accounts payable, and VAT. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience
with accounting and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.
Within this accounting position your focus will be on the Stokke GmbH
accounting.
- Checking and booking of travel expenses and credit card payments
• Register incoming invoices in Eyeshare
• Preparing and uploading weekly payment run
• Monthly VAT reporting
• Month end reporting to HQ
• Preparation of annual reporting
• Booking salaries
• Building accruals
• Account and supplier reconciliation
• Involvement in Liquidity plan
• Support in credit control topics when needed
Better Together, The Ideal Profile:

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in the field of accounting
• First experience in German specific tax and accounting laws and regulations
• Good understanding of Excel, basic understanding of SQLs and pivot tables
• Fluent English and German both written and verbally

• Strong attention to detail
• Solid problem-solving skills
• High Level of PC user experience and Excel skills.
• SQL experience would be beneficial.
• Flexible and autonomous, comfortable in fast changing/growing
environment
