Creative Director
Here We Grow:
Stokke’s legacy of innovation and dedication to quality spans over eight decades, beginning on the scenic west coast of Norway in 1932. Our values are rooted in our Scandinavian heritage, emphasizing craftsmanship and timeless design. Known worldwide for exceptional children's products, Stokke has spent more than forty years merging our passion for Scandinavian design with the drive to create products that foster family connections. Our designs are not only intended for today’s children but also for future generations, creating a legacy of comfort and quality.
Stokke has achieved significant international expansion by strategically acquiring complementary brands and products, including the Nomi chair, LIMAS baby carriers, Mutable play tables, and the YOYO stroller. These acquisitions have strengthened our global footprint, with office locations across Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, France, the US, and Asia. Our commitment to "Confident Kids for a Better World" is reflected in our diverse, dynamic work environment.
Pursue Excellence, The Team:
Creative Director
This role is part of Stokke's Global Marketing team, where we drive the brand strategy and create compelling content on a global scale. We’re constantly evolving to meet the changing needs of our consumers, staying innovative in how we connect with new audiences and ensuring we’re always ahead of the curve when it comes to creativity and storytelling. You will be the creative force behind upholding and adapting the Stokke aesthetic and visual language across all communication streams. This would involve leading creative projects, collaborating with internal and external partners and overseeing the integration of engaging content across local and global initiatives.
As a Creative Director at Stokke, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and evolving the brand’s visual identity. You’ll ensure that everything Stokke communicates, both internally and externally, stays true to our aesthetic and values. Collaborating with different departments and key stakeholders, you’ll help concept, create, and implement engaging content, ensuring a seamless integration of creative assets across all touchpoints—whether for local, regional, or global campaigns.
Better Together, The Ideal Profile:
As a brand guardian, you'll review and provide feedback to internal teams and external partners to make sure the creative direction stays consistent, whether it’s a product detail page (PDP) or a large-scale project with external creative agencies.

What You’ll Bring:
- A deep understanding and passion for art, design, architecture, music, and culture, and the ability to translate those influences into creative solutions that fit within Stokke’s brand guidelines.
- The ability to lead key creative projects from concept to execution, collaborating with peers to develop seasonal campaigns and out-of-cycle brand experiences. You’ll shape creative briefs, pitch ideas, and encourage innovative approaches.
- Strong leadership within the team, managing creative goals and deadlines effectively.
- A knack for building strong relationships with internal and external partners, guiding projects from concept to completion while ensuring they reflect the brand's direction and vision.
- A proactive mindset, always looking for ways to improve and move the brand’s creative efforts forward, while taking performance data into account to refine future work.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 7+ years of experience in a similar art direction or creative role.
- A degree in a creative field such as graphic design, fine arts, visual communication, or art direction.
- Hands-on expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and a strong ability to create polished presentations in Keynote. Bonus if you have video skills.
- Business-level fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with general guidance.
- Highly organized with excellent project management skills, able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- An enthusiastic team player who can also take initiative and work autonomously.
This role offers the chance to take the creative lead on projects that shape how Stokke is experienced globally, making it an exciting opportunity for a driven, creative professional who’s passionate about both aesthetics and strategy.
