Pursue Excellence, The Team:
The sales team in Germany for Stokke is essential for expanding market presence, managing customer relationships, and promoting the brand. They develop sales and distribution channels, train retail staff, and implement marketing initiatives. The team coordinates with customer service to ensure high satisfaction, gathers market intelligence for strategic decisions, and maintains selective distribution policies. They use tools like SalesForce for reporting and performance tracking, contributing to Stokke's global strategy and ensuring operational efficiency to support the brand's promise.
Take Responsibility, The Position:
As Head of Sales Germany, you will be responsible for driving growth and achieving strategic objectives within Germany. This includes developing existing and new sales channels aligned with Stokke’s global strategies. You will oversee the sales performance, working closely with marketing, eCommerce, customer service, and finance functions in the country. Leadership of the German sales team is a primary responsibility. We are seeking for a candidate to be based from Home office in Germany (ideally Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Berlin, or Munich)
Key Responsibilities:
• Understand German consumers and align within the organization to expand Stokke’s brand presence and increase market share.
• Lead the team and achieve country objectives in alignment with Stokke’s strategic goals.
• Spearhead the next phase of growth in Germany.
• Work closely with regional operations, including Marketing, Customer Service, and eCommerce.
• Build and develop a high-performance team that reflects Stokke’s leadership principles and operational standards.
Better Together, The Ideal Profile:
• Proven leadership experience as Head of Sales, Head of Commercial Enterprise, Head of Category Management, or a background in a thriving commercial role.
• Strong strategic and operational leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive growth in multi-channel environments.
• Expertise in managing physical and digital sales channels, including .com, retailer.com, marketplaces, and direct-to-consumer (DTC) models while maintaining third-party advocacy.
• Strong understanding of consumer behavior and digital marketing strategies.
• Commitment to fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture.
• Strong financial acumen and resource management capabilities.
• Forward-thinking approach to integrating technology and sustainability.
• Effective cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
Please note a strong professional understanding of English and German is required for this role.
