Take Responsibility, The Position:

As the Learning & Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing impactful learning initiatives that support employee growth and business success. You will oversee our virtual learning programs, manage our online academy, and collaborate with key stakeholders to assess capability gaps and develop tailored training solutions.

This position is to be based in our Amsterdam office and will report to the Chief People Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

Training & Development Initiatives

  • Develop Virtual Training Material: Design engaging and effective virtual training content that aligns with business objectives and employee development needs.
  • Online Academy Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of Stokke’s online learning academy, ensuring smooth functionality, content updates, and user engagement.
  • Analyze Capability Gaps: Assess team capabilities by analyzing business needs, skill sets, and employee performance to identify areas for development.
  • L&D Proposal Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop data-driven L&D proposals and prioritize training initiatives that enhance employee performance.
  • Execute Training Programs: Lead and implement smaller-scale training programs, ensuring effective content delivery, feedback collection, and achievement of learning outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness, making recommendations for ongoing improvements to meet evolving business needs.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategic Alignment

  • Partner with HR & Business Leaders: Work closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to engage with business leaders, ensuring L&D initiatives align with Stokke’s strategic goals.
  • Stay Updated on L&D Trends: Introduce new concepts and best practices in learning and development to drive innovation within the company.
  • Global Onboarding Coordination: Oversee the global onboarding process by securing central content, establishing a consistent framework, and providing guidelines for regional implementation.

We are looking for a proactive and creative individual who is passionate about learning and employee development. You thrive in a dynamic environment, have strong project management skills, and are adept at translating business needs into effective training solutions.

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with online learning platforms and instructional design tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to assess capability gaps and use data to drive training initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with HR and business leaders.
  • Innovation: A keen eye for emerging L&D trends and the ability to implement creative learning solutions.
