Our France-based sales team plays a critical role in expanding Stokke's market presence, managing key customer relationships, and promoting the Stokke brand. From developing retail channels to implementing impactful marketing strategies, the team ensures operational efficiency and helps execute the global vision. The role also involves collaborating with customer service teams to maintain high levels of satisfaction and market intelligence.
Take Responsibility: The Position - Key Account Manager - France
As a Key Account Manager for Stokke France, you will be responsible for developing the company’s sales targets through building and nurturing relationships with key retailers, independent stores, and new business opportunities. Working closely with the Area Sales Manager, you will contribute directly to expanding our premium distribution channels and securing selective retail placements.
Main Job Responsibilities
Sales Development:
  • Drive sales growth through existing retailer networks while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities aligned with Stokke’s selective distribution strategy.
  • Cultivate relationships with key accounts and independent retailers, strategically planning joint business initiatives to support long-term growth.
  • Promote and sell new product launches, campaigns, and promotions to increase product visibility.
Retailer Training & Support:
  • Train retail sales teams in product knowledge, merchandising, and effective selling techniques.
  • Foster enthusiasm and commitment within retail teams to ensure consistent brand representation.
Merchandising:
  • Maintain and enhance in-store displays according to Stokke’s merchandising standards.
  • Support the installation of new merchandising solutions and sales materials.
Reporting & Coordination:
  • Track and report sales performance using CRM tools, providing regular updates to the Area Sales Manager.
  • Develop and present market insights, opportunities, and challenges to inform business decisions.
Travel & Client Engagement:
  • Manage a travel schedule of 3-4 days per week, visiting key accounts, conducting training sessions, and building relationships with decision-makers.
  • Participate in consumer baby shows and retailer events to boost brand awareness and sales.

Qualifications & Experience
  • A degree in business, sales, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in account management and developing distribution for branded goods, ideally within a premium or selective distribution setup.
  • Strong understanding of retail environments, with a track record of motivating retail staff and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English.
  • Ability to travel extensively (3-4 days per week) and occasionally work weekends for consumer shows and company events.
Special Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and dedication to achieving business goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
