Take Responsibility, The Position: Director of Brand Marketing
As the Director of Brand Marketing for the Americas you will lead and evolve the national marketing strategy to elevate Stokke’s brand awareness, desirability, and revenue performance across the United States. You will harness deep consumer insights to craft effective marketing strategies, build integrated campaigns, oversee flawless execution, and drive measurable impact.

As the most senior marketing leader sitting on the Americas leadership team, this individual leads the marketing strategy for the region, how our products are brought to market, positioned, and sold. This includes responsibility for crafting compelling messaging, identifying target customer segments, and developing marketing plans that drive demand and adoption of the product.

This role requires strong commercial acumen, a data-driven mindset, and collaborative leadership. You will act as a key member of the Americas leadership team and work cross-functionally with global marketing, digital, sales, and product teams to ensure consistent brand storytelling and commercial alignment. The position reports to the General Manager, Americas, with a dotted line to the Global Chief Product Marketing Officer.

Main Responsibilities

Marketing Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead the creation and implementation of the Americas marketing strategy aligned with global brand positioning and Americas commercial priorities
  • Translate consumer insights into effective strategies and initiatives
  • Managing product ranging and distribution from a marketing perspective
  • Develop and execute marketing plans across all consumer touchpoints to build brand equity and drive engagement

Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Deliver 360° marketing campaigns, including new product launches and evergreen brand initiatives
  • Activate Stokke across relevant media channels, including digital, social, influencers, PR, and experiential
  • Ensure cohesive and consistent brand storytelling across all channels
  • Responsible for local content development in line with global standards

Performance & Optimization

  • Track and measure the impact of all marketing activities, optimizing based on KPIs such as ROI, awareness, traffic, and conversion
  • Continuously analyse market dynamics, competitive positioning, and consumer behaviour to inform strategy
  • Monitor and control marketing spend, ensuring adherence to budgets and maximum efficiency

Team & Collaboration

  • Recruit, train, and develop marketing talent, fostering a collaborative and performance-oriented culture
  • Collaborate closely with the Americas sales and eCommerce teams to align on go-to-market plans
  • Act as a bridge between the Americas and global marketing teams, sharing best practices and advocating for local market needs

Better Together, The Ideal Profile:

  • Higher degree in Marketing, Digital, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience with premium consumer brands
  • Proven success implementing global marketing strategies in a local Americas context
  • Comprehensive background in omnichannel marketing: in-store, retail/trade, digital, social media, PR, and advertising
  • Deep expertise in performance marketing, including paid search, paid social etc.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and membership/loyalty program development
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams
  • Strong history of cross-functional collaboration with Sales, eCommerce, Product, and Operations
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
  • Proficiency in Office 365 (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Independent, innovative, collaborative, and purpose-driven
