6 Month Maternity Cover

As Marketing Specialist NWE/Nordics, you will lead the adaptation and implementation of global marketing strategies across the Nordic markets (SE, NO, DK, FI). You will be responsible for coordinating regional marketing plans, managing local initiatives, supporting product launches, and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints. This role requires a strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution and close collaboration with both global and local stakeholders.

This role reports to the Regional Marketing Manager for NWE/Nordics and is based in London, England.

Personnel Responsibility: No direct reports initially, but significant stakeholder coordination is required.

Education Required:

  • Higher education in business, marketing, or a related field.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading marketing functions for premium brands in international settings.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and integrated marketing plans.
  • Strong analytical and creative skill set.

Special Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and one of the key Nordic languages.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and marketing platforms (e.g., CMS, Lefty).
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, social media, and PR.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Flexible, results-oriented, and capable of thriving in a dynamic, evolving organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Planning & Support

  • Adapt and implement global marketing plans for the Nordic region.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to align on campaign scope and execution.
  • Track marketing budgets, performance, and ROI for each country.

Coordination & Execution

  • Organize and follow up on product launches and regional marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare presentations and materials for retail and partner meetings.
  • Oversee translations and localization of marketing materials.

Project Management

  • Work with local PR and influencer agencies to activate brand campaigns.
  • Coordinate specific marketing projects and ensure timely execution.
  • Track and reconcile marketing spend against planned budgets.

Communication & Team Collaboration

  • Participate in weekly team meetings and agency calls.
  • Contribute to content planning and social media across markets.
  • Assist with internal documentation and communications.
  • Provide general marketing support and cross-functional collaboration.

Budgeting & Reporting

  • Develop country-specific marketing budgets in coordination with Sales Directors.
  • Propose and monitor optimal allocation of resources for short-, mid-, and long-term objectives.
  • Report marketing performance and effectiveness to the Regional Marketing Director.

Insight Generation

  • Gather consumer insights and feedback from local markets.
  • Monitor marketing activities against objectives and suggest improvements.
  • Share local best practices and successes with broader teams.

Salary Banding - £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
