The Position
Parent & Child at the Heart
As Web Ecommerce UI Designer, you will design intuitive, visually appealing, and conversion‑focused digital experiences that help parents navigate Stokke’s products with confidence. Your work will directly support families by creating interfaces that are accessible, meaningful, and aligned with Stokke’s purpose‑led brand.
Agility, Speed & Execution
This role requires a hands‑on, detail‑oriented designer who thrives on balancing creativity with precision. You will collaborate closely with UX specialists, developers, the eCommerce team, and the broader Creative and Marketing organisation to deliver fast, high‑quality UI solutions. You bring structure, organisation, and a solution‑oriented approach to every project.
This is a global role within the Global Creative Team, based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Main Responsibilities
UI Design & Digital Experience
- Design responsive, user‑friendly UI for Stokke.com, landing pages, and digital campaigns.
- Translate wireframes and user flows into polished, conversion‑driving interfaces.
- Ensure all digital designs adhere to global brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive visual identity.
- Develop creative storytelling journeys and support the continuous evolution of Stokke.com.
- Optimise user experiences with accessibility, usability, SEO, and performance best practices in mind.
Design Systems, Prototypes & Tools
- Build interactive prototypes, design systems, and component libraries in Figma.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to test designs and iterate based on feedback and analytics.
- Maintain high standards of layout, typography, and visual consistency.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with UX, eCommerce, Creative, and Product teams to deliver seamless experiences.
- Convert strategic and functional requirements into clear and effective UI solutions.
- Support project planning, shoot preparation (where relevant), and cross‑team alignment.
Digital & Motion Design
- Produce digital assets for web and campaign use.
- Create animated content using motion graphics and basic 2D/3D tools as needed.
- Stay informed on emerging eCommerce UI trends, interaction patterns, and design innovations.

Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Digital Media, or related creative field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in design, including 3+ years in UI design.
- At least one prior experience in eCommerce or digital retail.
- Proven experience working with global brands or in international environments.
- Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of responsive and mobile‑first design.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics (preferred).
- Familiarity with UX principles and conversion optimisation.
- Strong portfolio showcasing eCommerce UI projects.
- Experience with motion design.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
