About Stokke – Here We Grow

Founded on the west coast of Norway in 1932, Stokke is built on a strong Scandinavian heritage of craftsmanship, quality, and purpose‑driven design. For more than four decades, our products have championed connection—creating meaningful moments that bring parents and children closer together, while supporting healthy child development.

With global offices in Norway, the Netherlands, the U.S., Germany, France, and Asia, Stokke offers a dynamic and international work environment. We are committed to shaping a better world through confident kids, innovative thinking, and responsible growth.

The Position

Parent & Child at the Heart

As HR Business Partner, you will shape the people, culture, and organisational foundations that enable Stokke teams to create meaningful products and experiences for families. You support leaders in building environments where people thrive, feel valued, and can focus on serving parents and children with purpose.

Agility, Speed & Execution

In this hands‑on, strategic HR role, you will balance high‑level business partnering with strong HR operational ownership. You will lead organisational and cultural initiatives while ensuring that the operational backbone of HR — systems, processes, data, contracts, policies, and office operations — functions smoothly, accurately, and consistently.

You will partner with senior leaders across Product, Digital, Marketing, and the Amsterdam Commercial Hub, while collaborating closely with global HR to deliver a cohesive, best‑in‑class employee experience.

This role is ideal for a proactive, structured HR leader who excels in both strategic partnership and operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategic HR Partnership

  • Lead the HR and people agenda for the Amsterdam Commercial Hub aligned with global strategy.
  • Advise senior leaders on organisational design, workforce planning, succession, and capability development.
  • Act as a trusted sparring partner during periods of transformation and change.

HR Operations & Operational Excellence

  • Manage HRIS data accuracy within Bob (HiBob), including employee lifecycle updates, workflows, reporting, and compliance.
  • Ensure high‑quality contract generation, amendments, and employment documentation.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, handbooks, and guidelines in alignment with global frameworks.
  • Support and continuously improve HR processes including onboarding, performance cycles, compensation processes, and employee lifecycle administration.
  • Collaborate with payroll and finance on monthly HR data submissions and reconciliations.

Office Operations & Employee Experience

  • Oversee the operational environment of the Amsterdam office, ensuring a welcoming, functional, and compliant workspace.
  • Partner with teams on safety, facilities management, office improvements, and vendor relationships.
  • Support the practical execution of engagement activities, meetings, events, and team culture initiatives.

Organisational Development & Change Management

  • Lead and support organisational design efforts, role scoping, and team development discussions.
  • Drive change management initiatives and communication plans to ensure smooth transitions and adoption.
  • Support leadership development, coaching, and building people‑management capability.

Culture, Inclusion & Engagement

  • Shape initiatives that promote inclusion, well‑being, and a purpose‑driven culture.
  • Monitor engagement trends and partner with leaders to drive actionable improvements.
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador, reinforcing Stokke’s values in daily interactions.

Program & Project Delivery

  • Lead HR programs and initiatives across talent development, capability building, performance, and organisational improvement.
  • Ensure timely execution of people projects supporting regional and global priorities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on workforce analytics, trends, and stakeholder feedback.

The Ideal Profile

Pioneering Spirit

You are innovative, forward‑thinking, and eager to evolve the HR function. You bring new ideas, challenge assumptions constructively, and work actively to improve tools, processes, and organisational health.

Everyone Has a Seat at the Table

You collaborate easily across levels and cultures, communicate with clarity and empathy, and build trust with leaders, colleagues, and teams. You value diversity, transparency, and cross‑functional partnership.

You balance strategic perspective with operational excellence — thriving in environments that require both vision and hands‑on execution.
