The Position

Parent & Child at the Heart

As Sales Planning & Operations Specialist, you play a critical role in ensuring Stokke’s commercial plans translate into strong execution across Korea. By providing structured planning, insight‑driven analysis, and operational coordination across department stores, distributors, and e‑commerce, you help ensure families experience Stokke’s premium products reliably and consistently across all channels.

Agility, Speed & Execution

This role is highly analytical, execution‑focused, and cross‑functional. You will own sales planning and operational management cycles, turning performance data into actionable insights while enabling informed decision‑making across the Korea Sales organisation. Strong collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service is essential to translate plans into executable outcomes.

This role sits within the Korea Sales organisation, reporting to the Sales Manager, Korea.

Main Responsibilities

Sales Planning & Forecast Management

  • Establish and manage annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans and forecasts by channel, account, and category.
  • Monitor gaps between targets, forecasts, and actual performance, identifying key drivers and trends.
  • Support structured forecasting discipline across department store, distributor, and e‑commerce channels.

Channel Planning & Account Support

  • Analyse sales structure and operational efficiency across all commercial channels.
  • Provide channel‑ and account‑specific insights to support commercial decision‑making.
  • Support account planning through performance tracking and opportunity identification.

Category & Product Operations

  • Monitor core SKUs, best‑sellers, and underperforming SKUs, and recommend actions to improve sell‑through.
  • Analyse performance and profitability of key promotions, including bundles, gift‑with‑purchase programs, and accessory attachment strategies.
  • Support assortment, pricing, and promotion decisions through data‑driven insights.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports and business review materials.
  • Track and report key KPIs including sales, margin, inventory, sell‑through rate, discount rate, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Provide clear, structured performance insights to Sales leadership and cross‑functional partners.

Cross‑Functional Coordination & S&OP Support

  • Operate and support the S&OP process in close partnership with Sales, Marketing, SCM, Finance, and Customer Service.
  • Ensure alignment between sales forecasts, inventory status, and inbound schedules.
  • Translate demand changes and supply constraints into executable operating plans.
  • Identify operational risks early (e.g. stockouts, low inventory, delayed inbound shipments) and support mitigation planning.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or above (Business Administration, Commerce, Retail, or related fields preferred).

Experience

  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in Sales Planning, Sales Operations, Business Planning, Commercial Planning, Merchandising, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of department stores, distributors, and retailer‑operated e‑commerce channels.
  • Experience in retail, juvenile products, furniture, premium consumer goods, or adjacent industries is preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales forecasting, KPI management, and performance analysis.
  • Demonstrated cross‑functional collaboration with SCM, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, and store operations.

Capabilities

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable plans.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong Korean and English communication skills with effective stakeholder management.
  • Solid understanding of premium retail operations, channel dynamics, and in‑store execution.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
