Product Manager

At Stokke a product manager will develop and execute the product strategy in line with the overall Stokke strategic ambition and in alignment with Leadership Team. It includes the end-to-end product responsibility from insight and ideas to products in the market. Furthermore the product manager drives the overall product agenda on “product, prices and place” and supports collaboration with the brand team on “promotion” (campaign) development.

 

 Main job responsibilities: 

  • Leads and drives the global product strategy including clear vision and direction with relevant objectives and KPIs
  • Sets direction and drives the overall agenda via a portfolio of NPD/PLM/Promo/Communications projects
  • Leads creative processes with internal and external partners to generate new ideas to ensure delivery against mid- and long-term growth objectives
  • Drives the insights and competitive intelligence agenda for the category and ensures all innovations/PLM is consumer-based and insights-led
  • Drives the pricing strategy in collaboration with Finance, Markets and CLT to ensure competitiveness in-market and GM expansion
  • Owns the overall Category NPD/PLM portfolio and ensures delivery of all projects ‘on-time and in-full’
  • Coaches Associate Product Managers towards a PM role
  • Owns the promotional calendar and ensures a healthy balance of and equity building  

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management or similar
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years’ experience and a solid understanding of product or category management in a global branded consumer goods company. This would be the ideal next step for a more junior Product Manager looking to move into a more senior role and lead a global category
  • Fully fluent in English
  • Fully operational in all product management matters, esp. experience in end-to-end product development, innovation and Product Lifecycle Management
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills, motivate and work effectively as member of a diverse global team
  • Constructive challenger with a global mindset
  • Regular travel; in Europe and across global markets with a regular presence in Ålesund office (Norway)
